It was mostly just: "Hi,I'm this guy. I teach that subject. Any questions?" *off to next room and repeat* Got almost zero stupid questions.
Oh and I'm happy to see that most of you used the "Who's your least favourite commenter" thread lightheartedly and had some some fun. To those of you who actually named names: Commenter XYZ might be a jerk and an asshole, but nobody likes a telltale either.
Stay classy Oppo!

Parent-teacher conferences were the worst thing for me. I was not a bad student, but never a great one either. And with a mother, teacher, expectations were rather high, so there were a lot of nerves after such thing.
Here in the Bulgaria teachers are expected to say as much as possible and explain to every parent individually how is their kid doing. You are lucky.

Yeah well, we'll have that at a later moment this year. The school year has just started this week, so this time it was only getting to know each others faces. Or for them to get to know our faces. Personal talks will be in 8-9 weeks, when we got to know the students and there is actual stuff to really talk about.

Today was only the 7th graders. I have 3 7th grade classes (90 students). Getting only one silly question from a parent is good in my books.
